This natural two-tone,
curly Cotswold sheepskin is stunning. Taken
from a Cotswold cross lamb two months after shearing,
this sheepskin sports bright silver and gunmetal
gray on the same pelt. The wool is shiny and silky-soft.
Very lovely and unique from the other pelts I have
- the only one like it this year. |

This natural moorit
sheepskin is a lovely shade of cinnamon
brown that the picture doesn't do justice. Being
a recessive trait, moorit is very uncommon among
sheep, and the wool is actually brown as opposed
to the usual black, gray or white. The wool on this
animal's back faded in the summer sun, so there
is a pale stripe of light mocha down the middle.
From a fine wool lamb, so it's very soft, dense
and cushiony. The only one this year. |

"Wow" is the only way to describe
these amazing natural white, superlong wool
sheepskins.. The wool is up to 10 inches
long, shiny, silky and completely free of matts or
tangles. Very special. |

Just gorgeous - a natural
dark, superlong wool sheepskin. The
wool is up to 8 inches long, shiny, silky and frosted
slightly on the tips by the summer sun. The
only one of this kind this year. |

These natural white, curly
wool sheepskins are produced by shearing
Cotswold lambs 2-3 months prior to slaughter.
This allows enough time for the wool to grow to
a length of 2-3 inches and take on the characteristic
curls the Cotswolds are so well known for.
The wool is bright white and shiny. Curl texture
is loose, open and silky, providing not a whole
lot of cushioning effect, but a really handsome
and unique look and feel. |

These
naturally dark, long wool sheepskins are
very close to black, but contain some strands of
gray fiber, and/or have some brown on the fiber
ends. These skins have not been dyed, and are exactly
as the sheep grew them.
Because the animals were from long wooled breeds,
the wool is generally about 5" long, quite lustrous,
and silky feeling. Beautiful! |

These
natural white long wool sheepskins are much
like the dark versions except for the color. These
are what I call "warm whites" - they are shades of
ivory and eggshell as the sheep grew them, not bleached
to snow white.
They're very silky and soft to the touch. Wool is
about 5" long. |

These
natural dark sheepskins are from medium wooled
sheep, which means that the wool is shorter, about
2 1/2- 3 " long, and grows more densely per square
inch.
This gives a very resilient cushioning effect The
wool is not as lustrous as the long wools, and has
a more matte appearance.
Shades of dark vary slightly from almost black to
more brownish due to the sun fading the tips of the
fibers. Variance is minimal, however. |

These
natural white sheepskins are very dense and
cushiony, having about a 3" wool length. Shades of
white vary slightly from eggshell to antique ivory.
(Not quite this yellow in real life.) |
